Shirley is an associate and an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa who specializes in various aspects of construction and engineering law, their contracts (more specifically FIDIC and the JBCC) and has a general understanding of the construction market in South Africa.
She began her legal career working in general practice, first dealing predominantly with private person matters as well as criminal cases, and then dealing with insurance companies for personal injury claims and car accident claims.
She joined Tiefenthaler Africa in 2018 and has since worked on several high profile cases, including projects at the Kusile Power Station.
